Job Title: Director of Scheduling - High Rise Construction

Salary: $250,000 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and lead the scheduling department, ensuring the development and maintenance of accurate project schedules for high-rise construction projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and other stakeholders to create detailed project schedules, including sequencing of activities, resource allocation, and critical path analysis.
  • Implement best practices and innovative scheduling techniques to enhance project efficiency and minimize delays.
  • Conduct regular schedule reviews and updates, providing insightful analysis to project teams and management.
  • Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive scheduling strategy for high-rise construction projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies related to project timelines.
  • Provide training and guidance to project teams on effective scheduling practices.
  • Ensure compliance with project timelines and milestones, addressing any scheduling challenges proactively.
  • Evaluate and implement scheduling software and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Director of Scheduling in high-rise construction projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling methodologies, software, and tools.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and address scheduling challenges.
  • Experience with critical path analysis and risk management related to project timelines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
