Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management:

    • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of industrial construction projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and specifications.
    • Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules in collaboration with stakeholders.
    • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement timely solutions to keep projects on track.
  2. Contractor Management:

    • Select and manage contractors, subcontractors, and vendors, including soliciting bids, negotiating contracts, and overseeing work quality.
    • Conduct regular meetings with contractors to review project status, address concerns, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
    • Evaluate contractor performance and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain project quality and efficiency.
  3. Budget and Cost Control:

    • Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and forecasting costs throughout the construction process.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions to optimize project profitability.
    • Review change orders and negotiate contract modifications to minimize cost overruns.
  4. Quality Assurance and Compliance:

    • Maintain insurance coverage and ensure compliance with insurance requirements throughout the construction process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred).
  • Extensive experience in industrial construction project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with construction contracts, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Professional certification (e.g., Project Management Professional, Certified Construction Manager) is a plus.
