We're in search of a Regional Area Manager specializing in Multi-Family Construction to join our team and play a pivotal role in coordinating and supervising our daily operations. The ideal candidate must possess extensive experience in Multi-Family Construction.
Responsibilities:
- Under the guidance of the National Director of Operations, this strategic position entails developing and managing a thriving office and team within the Texas regional market.
- Attendance at industry/company events beyond standard business hours may be required.
- Regional Area Manager - Texas will oversee operations, sales, and administrative functions within the Texas region, with support from the National Director of Operations, corporate finance, and sales and administrative personnel based in Florida.
- Effective communication with employees, vendors, subcontractors, and clients across all levels, including property-level, mid-level, and upper-level executives and owners.
- Representation at company meetings, events, job sites, and industry functions.
- Management and supervision of daily activities within the operations team.
- Recruitment, training, and management of superintendents.
- Providing guidance and support to sales and operations in resolving complex issues, including customer interactions, contract plan interpretation, and building code matters.
- Project assignment and workload balancing.
- Initiating and maintaining cost-effective planning and scheduling activities to ensure quality work and timely project completion.
- Reviewing vendor/subcontractor qualifications and making decisions regarding their approval/discharge.
- Increasing company's revenue through direct engagement with existing customers and development of new customer relationships within the multi-family industry.
- Maintaining personal contacts to nurture both new and existing customer relationships.
- Reviewing contract documents and monitoring project progress.
- Addressing and resolving client inquiries and complaints.
- Taking primary responsibility for project profit and loss by effectively controlling costs and reviewing estimating, purchasing, subcontracting, and invoicing processes.
- Enforcement of company policies and procedures.
- Regular communication and collaboration with other offices and teams.
Qualifications:
- The Regional Area Manager must possess adequate education, experience, and communication skills (both oral and written) to fulfill the assigned responsibilities.
- Proficiency in managing a P&L and utilizing computer software, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Project, from remote locations.
- Exceptional listening skills, multitasking abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple, conflicting deadlines while creatively solving problems.
- Completion of OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 courses, or completion of OSHA 10 within the first 10 working days and OSHA 30 within the first 40 working days of employment.
